GlassRock manufactures custom wine bottles for independent wineries, négociants, and private-label brands across more than 40 countries. Our bottle range covers every major wine style — Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne flute, Alsace, and Rhône profiles — as well as fully bespoke proprietary shapes developed from scratch. ISO 9001:2015 certified and producing over 100 million units annually, we combine the economies of large-scale manufacturing with the flexibility demanded by premium wine brands.
Glass options include standard flint (clear), antique green, dead leaf green, and dark green, with wall-thickness profiles suited to still wines, sparkling wines, and high-pressure pétillant styles. Every bottle meets CE and FDA food-contact standards. Lead times for standard moulds run 30–45 days; new custom moulds are typically delivered in 45–60 days.
Each GlassRock wine bottle starts with a precisely batched mix of silica sand, soda ash, limestone, and recycled cullet, melted at 1,500 °C in our regenerative furnaces. Gobs of molten glass are formed on IS machines using press-and-blow or blow-and-blow technology, then transferred to an annealing lehr for controlled cooling. Finished bottles pass automated optical inspection covering capacity, verticality, wall thickness, and cosmetic quality before palletising.
We offer embossing and debossing of logos, crests, and patterns directly into the bottle mould. Surface finish options include frosted, satin, and antique treatments. Screen printing in up to six colours is available on-bottle, as is a label panel optimised for paper or self-adhesive labels. Closures supported include natural cork, micro-agglomerated cork, synthetic cork, ROPP screw cap, and wax capsule.
